About the event

The cooking classes are designed to be hands-on, interactive, and fun for all participants. The classes are led by experienced and trained chefs who teach basic cooking skills, recipe development, and food preparation techniques. The chefs also emphasize the

importance of sustainable and ethical food production and consumption practices.  Children will learn valuable skills such as following

instructions/measuring ingredients, and creating something delicious. It can also help them to gain confidence in their abilities and to develop a sense of pride in their accomplishments. Through a cooking project, young people and adults can learn to make nutritious meals, experiment with different flavours, and gain an understanding of how to prepare food safely and hygienically. Cooking classes can play an important role in addressing this issue by teaching individuals how to prepare healthy, nutritious meals at home. By learning how to cook, individuals can save money on food expenses, while also improving their overall health and wellbeing.  Additionally, cooking classes can provide a sense of community and belonging, as participants come together to prepare and share meals.
